Samson Landscape + Design

We've worked with Samson Landscape and Design for 12 years. Their stone work is particularly beautiful and well constructed. They've installed flagstone walkways, replaced crumbling uneven stairs, and repaired poor drainage. Our acre lot was just grass when we started; a dozen trees and 50 shrubs later, it's park-like. I especially like the attention paid to native plants and ecological concerns. Finally, Sam is good to his crews and treats them with respect.

We have Samson Landscape and Design doing work at our house and they are amazing. The crew members are very professional and hard working. We also had to replace our front stoop entry into the house as part of the project. Samson hired Detweiler Amish Masonry to pour the footers and do all the block and brick work and they did an amazing job. I would highly recommend them for any of your masonry needs. I would also highly recommend Samson Landscape and design, because the do great work and easy to work with.

Samson Landscape + Design has done great work at our house! They did 2 projects for us. First, they installed a french drain on the side of the house which was a success. We haven't had water in the basement and the backyard is no longer a swamp after it rains since the drain was installed. A couple months later they built a beautiful patio in our backyard that we are very happy with. Sam, Dawson, and crew are friendly, responsive, and helpful! We plan to work with Samson on future landscaping needs.

Samson did a masterful work of sprucing up the front bed in our house. When we bought the house, it was filled with, shall we say, "starter plants." Sam connected us with Emily, who designed a new layout not only for our front but also the back with pollinators in mind. We wanted to attract bees & butterflies. We moved forward with the front to see how things went, and the results were fantastic! The front of our house stands out among the houses on our street. Big thanks to Dawson for moving the plants around until I was satisfied!

Very good experience with Samson Landscape + Design. I needed to replace my driveway and wanted to go with a more environmentally-friendly, permeable option. Sam's team designed and installed a lovely gravel drive with granite block edging. Samson was straightforward in terms of their timeline and pricing, communicative, and very professionally dealt with a few challenges that arose on our work site during install. Would recommend.

Sam and his crew were highly professional, very courteous, and responsive to texts and phone calls. We met with Sam several times over period of six months prior to signing a contract. The project took a little over seven days of work across an 11 week-day period. Sam has a strong aesthetic sense and made some nice adjustments during installation. This was a large project that included solving drainage issues, putting in a paver patio and doing a makeover of the landscaping in front of the house. For a project of this size go with someone you trust and we trusted Samson Landscape & Design LLC.

We reached out to Samson Landscape and Design for help with landscaping, patio construction, and drainage. It was a big job and they did not disappoint. They are truly the nicest and hardest working guys we have met. They are all knowledgeable on the work they do and take a lot of pride in everything they do. Sam and his crew were polite and always gave us an end of the day update. Getting this update was extremely nice because we were always clear where they were in the project. Everyone was great to work with. I would highly recommend this company. We will be asking for their services again in the future.

Sam and his crew created a landscape design and patio for our backyard that was beyond our expectations. He managed to do this despite us changing our mind about some aspects of the patio that required him to pivot on the fly. Sam and his crew were great to work with, always pleasant and respectful as well as showing a good sense of humor. His cute 2 year old son Leo even made an appearance or two with his dad to assist with the process. Thank you Sam (and crew) for a job well done!

Okay let me just say that I am so excited about my new yard!!! The crew at Samson made it seem effortless and completed in 1 day, painful tasks that took me hours. They arrived on time, they were courteous and respectful to my property and even to my neighbors! They completely transformed my yard and changed it from sad and unsightly, to something beautiful (finally). It’s the new beginning that my spirit truly needed. I can’t wait to see how everything blossoms this season!! I really could cry. Thank you all so very much. You’ve no idea how this yard transformation has blessed me!
